One shooting victim in critical condition, one upgraded

Omaha, NE – Three victims of yesterday's shooting at Westroads Mall were taken to Nebraska Medical Center. Spokesman Paul Baltes says two patients were released last night. The third, 61-year-old Fred Wilson, has been upgraded to serious condition. Wilson underwent surgery last night after suffering a gunshot wound to the upper chest. Information on the Nebraska Medical Center web site (www.nebraskamed.com) says Wilson is a Customer Service Manager at Von Maur, where the shootings happened.

Omaha, NE – The eight people who died in Wednesday's shootings inside the Von Maur department store are:

Gary Scharf, 48, a customer

John McDonald, 65, a customer

Angie Schuster, 36, an employee

Maggie Webb, 24, an employee

Janet Jorgenson, 66, an employee

Diane Trent, 53, an employee

Gary Joy, 56, an employee

Beverly Flynn, 47, an employee
