2 Omaha police officers injured after hit by stolen car

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Police say two Omaha officers were injured after the driver of a stolen vehicle backed into them in a parking lot.

A police spokesman said it's unclear what injuries the officers suffered but notes that they weren't serious. Authorities say the officers were trapped between the suspect's car and the door of their patrol car on Wednesday night.

Police say the suspect was taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries.

Further details weren't immediately available.
