The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce presents it annual Economic Outlook Luncheon tomorrow at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.
CEO David Brown says the annual meeting began in 1992 and offers attendees a look at the past year’s economic performance. Brown says the chamber will also discuss what next year’s economy will look like.
"We have local businesses that will talk about their industries and what they anticipate. We are also bringing in a national speaker who can bring us the perspective of the entire country what the economy is supposed to look like over the next year. It’s a great way to plan for next year by hearing about what kind of economic growth we should be having.”
Brown says this year’s guest speaker is Geoff Colvin, senior editor-at-large of Fortune magazine. Colvin’s presentation is called “Leading, Ahead of What’s Next.”
The 2014 Economic Outlook Luncheon takes place at 11:45 tomorrow.
