ACA information programs at Omaha Public Library

The Omaha Public Library is hosting a series of programs next month on the Affordable Care Act.

The health insurance marketplace opens up on Tuesday. That’s also when the programs on health insurance options for families, individuals, and businesses begin.

Beth Pakiz, Manager of the Omaha Public Library’s W. Clarke Swanson Branch, says they're working with several partners.

"The programs will be focused on the plans, what kind of plans are available, where they can go to find help to actually sign up for affordable care."

Pakiz says the Library branches are providing a location and Internet access to learn more about the Affordable Care Act, but librarians will not be signing people up for coverage.

More information on the workshops is available at www.omahalibrary.org.
