LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Student loan company Nelnet is delaying the release of its earnings report while it reviews a new accounting standard for its loans.
Nelnet said Thursday that it now plans to release its earnings report next Wednesday.
The Lincoln, Nebraska, based company said it is reviewing how to treat borrower defaults in its financial results.
Originally, the company planned to release results on Thursday.
