AIM's Infotec Event Set for March 21st

AIM’s 2016 Infotec Event features a presentation by Theresa Payton, the first female Chief Information Officer for the White House.

Dave Vankat, Director of Events Management at AIM, says the purpose of the event is to bring together tech professionals from across the Midwest to learn about things like cybersecurity, connected communities and user innovation.

Vankat says the day will offer breakout sessions on a variety of topics, several speakers and a chance for attendees to sample new tech.

"We have our Try It Zone which features different hands-on technologies people can learn about including things from IBM and their Watson Analytics and how they use cognitive learning.  Then we have Microsoft and some of their Smart Tools.”

Vankat says the Google makers team will talk about some of the projects they have going on as well.  The 2016 AIM Infotec Event takes place Monday, March 21st from 8:30-5:30 at the Embassy Suites in La Vista.
