A Beloved Holiday Tradition Returns

Joslyn Art Museum's atrium is the venue for its 19th annual Holiday Under Glass series.

Amy Rummel, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Joslyn, says the series takes place Wednesdays and Fridays, December 4th through the 20th.

Rummel says the series offers people an opportunity to come into the museum and enjoy a nice holiday concert over the Noon hour.

She says it’s a great opportunity to hear local groups perform.

"UNO Chamber Choirs, Grace University Choirs, Central High School – they’re an incredibly talented group of kids who are actually performing a couple different dates – bringing different parts of their choirs.  Creighton is sending musical theatre students this year and then we’ve got Madrigali which is a wonderful a cappella group.”

All concerts take place from Noon to 12:45. Optional tours of special exhibitions and the permanent collection are offered after the concerts at 1:00.  A complete schedule is available online.
