OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Thousands of Berkshire Hathaway shareholders attending this weekend's annual meeting can pick up commemorative underwear, jewelry, running shoes and other souvenirs.
More than 40,000 people are expected to attend Saturday's meeting to listen to Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger.
This year marks 50 years since Buffett took control of Berkshire and began reshaping it into a conglomerate. So Berkshire's 80-odd subsidiaries dreamed up some special trinkets for shareholders to buy.
Fruit of the Loom is offering "Berky" boxers and bras. The Richline Group designed a gold Warren Buffett watch, bracelets and a commemorative coin.
Berkshire's Brooks Running subsidiary is offering a limited edition shoe with a cartoon depiction of Buffett inside. The products fill a 200,000-square foot exhibit hall next to the arena where the meeting is held.
