Big Omaha begins May 6

More than 700 people are expected to attend the Big Omaha entrepreneurship conference next month.

The seventh annual Big Omaha is May 6th through 8th. Big Omaha brings together aspiring entrepreneurs and those who’ve built successful startups, to discuss business and innovation. Caleb Ulffers, director of Big Omaha, says those business owners provide valuable insight.

"They’ve been there and they’ve done it and they’ve kind of worked through a lot of those earlier issues, or things that you have to do when building a company or just when working hard at your role, whatever that is, in your company. They’ve been through a lot of those things and have a lot of really good insight on how to work through them."

This year’s speakers include Jamie Tworkowski. He’s the founder of To Write Love On Her Arms, a group dedicated to helping those struggling with depression and addiction.
