Omaha, NE – Omaha ranks third on a business magazine's list of the top ten places in the U.S. to live, work, and play.
Kiplinger's Personal Finance created the top ten list based on factors such as economic development, cost of living, and quality of life.
Mark Wojno is Senior Associate Editor of Kiplinger's magazine. Wojno says Omaha's philanthropy and population growth make the city stand out. He says Omaha has a strong cultural scene, a good job market, and affordable housing costs.
Wojno visited Omaha in March for research. He says Slowdown, the Holland Performing Arts Center and SoMa were among his favorite places.
Des Moines, Iowa ranks number nine on the list.
