Creighton University is the most beautiful college in Nebraska. That’s according to Travel and Leisure magazine.
Cindy Workman, Director of Public Relations for Creighton, says Travel and Leisure recognized the university’s history and its future by selecting photos of St. John’s Parish and the new Harper Center to use in its article.
Workman says though there’s a difference of 130 years between the two buildings, the architecture is similar.
She says Travel and Leisure also considered knowledge from campus visits, first-person references and upkeep of the campus grounds.
"Creighton University has been recognized for nine years in a row as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. I have to tell you, come May, this campus is just gorgeous. All the trees are in bloom and it makes for a really nice stroll through the campus.”
