City of Omaha, Police Union reach tentative contract agreement

By Katie Knapp Schubert

Omaha, NE – The Omaha Police Officers Association and the city have reached a tentative contract agreement.

Mayor Jim Suttle's office announced the tentative deal Monday. In a news release, the Mayor's office says the agreement addresses concerns the Police Union had with an addendum presented in March.

The City Council has two weeks to review the tentative agreement. It'll be on the City Council agenda July 27th.

There will be a public hearing on the new contract agreement after that date.
