Cobweb Castle open throughout October for the boils and ghouls

The Omaha Children’s Museum’s kid-friendly haunted house, Cobweb Castle, is open throughout the month of October.

Kim Reiner, Marketing and PR Manager for the museum, says there will be trick or treat nights October 20th and 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. where kids can pick up healthy treats and goodies.

She says there are also two new characters this year, Queen Raven and Dr. Bones.  Together, the duo will present Critter Corner where kids can learn more about different creepy crawlies, like baby tarantula.

"We have two baby tarantulas named Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.  So they will introduce children to these tiny, tiny tarantulas that will eventually grow bigger (hopefully not before the end of the exhibit) but and tell them about spiders and introduce them to different facts about them and what makes a spider a spider and have children answer questions.”

Reiner says the Healthy Trick or Treat Nights are included with museum admission.  Cobweb Castle runs through October 30th.
