Omaha, NE – Day three of the 2009 College World Series features LSU, Arkansas, Cal State-Fullerton and Virginia.
This is the 60th year the Series has been played in Omaha. The first game Monday features Cal State-Fullerton and Virginia. That game begins at one PM. At six PM, LSU plays Arkansas.
2010 is the final year the CWS will be played at Rosenblatt Stadium. After that, it moves to the new TD Ameritrade Omaha Park, which is currently under construction.
The College World Series continues through June 23rd or 24th, depending on the number of championship games needed. CWS of Omaha Executive Director Kathryn Morrissey says demand is strong for tickets to some games, such as LSU and Texas.
