Completion is the next installment of KANEKO's Process Series

Completion is the third in a series of four panels being held at KANEKOtomorrow night.

The process series is meant to explore the creative process at work.

Anna Monardo, Professor in the Writer’s Workshop at UNO, says each panel looks at a number of different art disciplines and art professions to see where there are similarities in work processes and where there are differences.

She says the series began with first drafts, moved on to revision and is now focusing on how to know when your work is done.

Monardo says all of the panelists will talk about what it’s like for them to bring a project to completion.

"We will have a painter, Lanny DeVuono, from the University of Colorado Denver, a brewmaster, Zac Triemert, who is also owner of Brickway Brewing and Distilling, Detective Alex Hayes, former Chief of Police for Omaha and I will be on the panel as well as a novelist.”

The process panels are being offered by the KANEKO-UNO Creativity Library and UNO’s Writer’s Workshop.

Monardo says Thursday’s program starts at 5:30 and no registration is required.
