Omaha, NE – Philanthropist, author and Emmy Award-winning composer Peter Buffett will present "Life is What You Make It," a benefit concert for Omaha Central High School, this Thursday.
Buffett is a Central High alum and says the concert and conversation is the live companion to his best-selling book. He will be telling both his personal and professional story through a piano and vocal performance, "It's me basically just telling my story which surprisingly people are interested in hearing. It really was a surprise but then I realized people had this distorted view of success and privilege and I thought that if I told my story, it might actually shift those definitions a little bit."
Cellist Michael Kott will provide accompaniment during the performance. The concert and conversation take place at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
