Creighton enrollment tops 7,300

Omaha, NE – More than 7,300 students are enrolled at Creighton University this fall.

Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management Mary Chase says this fall's enrollment is 7,350. That's 300 more students than last year. Creighton has its largest freshman class in history 1,054 students.

Chase says a growing student population poses challenges, especially in course offerings. But she says it's a challenge the school likes to have.

Chase adds that Creighton is working to make its education more affordable. She says the quality Jesuit education offered by Creighton attracts more students each year.
