Omaha, NE – The first victim brought to Creighton University Medical Center was 56-year-old Gary Joy, who was pronounced dead upon arrival. The second, 47-year-old Beverly Flynn, died about 45 minutes after arrival from a gunshot wound to the chest. The third victim is 65-year-old Micky Oldham. She remains in critical condition today with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and back. Hospital officials say Oldham will require additional surgeries due to the extent of her injuries. Creighton's trauma unit mobilized immediately after notification from the Omaha Fire Department. Dr. Leon Sykes, Director of the Trauma Unit at Creighton University Medical Center, discussed the hospital's response during a news conference this morning.
