Creighton's Graduation Rate Tops in Nebraska

76% of Creighton University’s student graduate in the normal four-year timeframe.

That’s according to an online list compiled by eCollegeFinder.

Sarah Richardson, Director of Admissions and Scholarships for Creighton, says the college prides itself on ensuring students are on track to graduate on time.

Richardson says one of the main things the college does well is advising.

She says students get one on one attention that allows them to develop a plan of study to achieve the goal of graduating in four years.

"We not only get students through our education in four years but we also get them into their next phase of life, whether that is jobs or graduate or professional school.  Our placement rate every year is between 94 and 97%.”

Richardson says the data used in the rankings comes from the National Center for Education Statistics.

The national average graduation rate for a four-year institution was 59% with the average for private institutions was 65%.
