Darryl White Jazz Concert to air Saturday night on KIOS

Lincoln concert to be presented by NET Radio By Chris Cooke

Omaha, Nebraska – A special live jazz concert radio broadcast will be carried by KIOS Saturday evening.
NET Radio in Lincoln is presenting a two-hour "Live Jazz Special" with the Darryl White Group on Saturday November 3 beginning at 7:00PM.
The performance, at The Loft at The Mill in Lincoln's Haymarket, will be broadcast across the state including a simulcast by KIOS-FM.
During the concert intermission KIOS Jazz host Chris Cooke will present an interview with trumpeter Darryl White.
A native of Warren, Ohio, Darryl White has been playing trumpet since the age of 10.
White has served as a music educator since the early 1990s. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Youngstown State University, a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado.
Darryl White is associate professor of trumpet at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Music. Darryl White is an accomplished faculty member, lecturer and soloist, in addition to being an expert performer, much in demand at jazz festivals, clubs, orchestras and studios.
