Deadline Approaching for Early Voting Ballot

The deadline for voters in Douglas County to request an early voting ballot is Wednesday, May 8th at 4:00 p.m.

Early voting ballot applications may be printed from the Election Commission website at www.votedouglascounty.com.

Voters may also request an early voting ballot in writing.  The request must include the election name, voter’s name, date of birth, phone number, address and where he or she wants the ballot mailed as well as a signature.

Once filled out, the application may be delivered to the Election Commission Office at 225 N. 115th Street or faxed to 402-444-4181.  Early voting ballots may not be requested over the phone or online.

All early voting ballots must be received by the Douglas County Election Commission at its office or one of four drop off locations by Tuesday, May 14th at 8:00 p.m.

The ballot drop boxes are located at the Charles B. Washington Branch Library, the South Omaha Branch Library, the Bess Johnson Elkhorn Branch Library and the Millard Public Schools Foundation.

Voters may vote in person at the Election Commission until Monday, May 13th at 5:00 p.m.
