Feature III is coming to the Holland Center on February 20, 2011

Omaha, NE – Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh is the special guest for Film Streams' Feature III on Sunday, February 20th.

Executive Director Rachel Jacobson says Soderbergh is as well known for his smaller indie films such as "The Girlfriend Experience" as he is for blockbusters like "The Informant!". Two of his films were nominated for the Best Picture of 2000: "Erin Brockovich" and "Traffic". Ultimately, he won the award for "Traffic". Jacobson says the presentation will begin at 6:30 in the Holland Center.

She says the Weitz family is going to introduce director Alexander Payne who will then talk about what he thinks about Steven Soderbergh, "Payne will then give a little bit of an introduction for Soderbergh and then Soderbergh and Kurt Anderson will come on stage." She says Anderson will interview Soderbergh in a sort of "Inside the Actor's Studio" style. Jacobson says, "we'll have a screen behind them and clips from his films that are relevant to the conversation."

Tickets for Feature III are available by logging on to filmstreams.org.
