Film Streams Announces its Summer Selections for Forever Young Series

Film Streams kicks off the summer selections in its Forever Young series July 5th

Forever Young offers movies geared toward children and families.  All films are matinees and are screened on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Rachel Jacobson, Director of Film Streams, says for the first time, the summer series begins with a brand new film called “The Painting.”

"This is actually a French film and it’s animated so this is the English language version that they are showing.  And it’s just beautifully shot.  All of the animation looks like paintings.  So that should be a fun one.  It’s a little unusual for the Family and Children Series because it’s a new one.  It was just released this year.”

Jacobson says other films coming up on the series this summer includes “The Sound of Music,” “Bye, Bye Birdie,” “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn,” and “Forbidden Planet.”
