First Central Congregational Church offers a series of Open Forums throughout the year on an assortment of subjects.
Scott Jones, Senior Minister, says the next forum takes place on March 2nd and will feature OPS School Board Member, Marian Fey.
Jones says Fey will discuss current issues facing the Omaha Public Schools.
He says forums focus on everything from theology, to intellectual topics or contemporary issues that people are talking about.
"People have very little opportunity and space to have good dialogue and conversation with people who have different perspectives. And we think this forum, and in particular the kind of issues we address in it, provide that sort of opportunity for people to have intelligent, open, free and safe conversations around important issues.”
Marian Fey will speak at First Central Congregational Church on Sunday, March 2nd at 9:10 a.m. There is no fee to attend.
