Film Streams’ series of family-friendly movies is playing through April 3rd.
The series is called “Forever Young.” Seven films are being shown, including “It Happened One Night,” “Meet Me in St. Louis,” and “Big.” Film Streams executive director, Rachel Jacobson, says all the movies shown in the series are chosen based on their appropriateness for all ages.
"Sometimes they’re recent stuff that’s not just super widely distributed that are appropriate for families and kids, and not always young kids, sometimes it’s appropriate for older kids, but we try to tell people the age range that it’s good for. It’s a really fun series and we feel really lucky to do it."
Jacobson says a film’s history and relevance are also considered when choosing films for the Forever Young series.
