Former Governor Kay Orr says she won't support Donald Trump

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Former Nebraska Governor Kay Orr says she won't support Donald Trump if he wins the GOP nomination for president.

Orr tells Omaha World-Herald she doesn't believe Trump supports the conservative ideals of Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln that she supports. She also questions Trump's character.

Orr is the second prominent Nebraska Republican to oppose Trump in the past week. U.S. Senator Ben Sasse also said he won't vote for Trump if he wins the GOP primary.

Orr, who led Nebraska state government from 1987 to 1991, says she has consistently supported Republican candidates for president for more than 50 years before now.
