Omaha, Nebraska – Two of the foremost contributors to Popular and R & B music during the last 40 years will be honored on a special program to air this weekend on KIOS-FM.

Gamble & Huff: Love Is The Message: The Story of Philadelphia International Records will air Sunday evening on Omaha Public Radio.

This one-hour radio special pays tribute to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff and the great artists of their Philadelphia International Records (PIR) label- The O'Jays, Teddy Pendergrass, Patti LaBelle, Lou Rawls and many more.

In brand-new exclusive interviews, Gamble and Huff discuss the impact their music has had over the last 40 years of American Pop and R&B music, and the behind-the-scenes stories of their own favorite tracks. They also detail their continued involvement in community projects in their hometown of Philadelphia.

PIR artists Teddy Pendergrass, Patti LaBelle, and Billy Paul also add their thoughts on
their many collaborations with Gamble and Huff. Longtime Philadelphia radio personality Mimi Brown is the host. The program is produced by Joyride Media.
