Omaha, NE – Get Gifty, a Benson Art Studio Tour and Holiday Art Sale, takes place this Saturday from 11 to 6.
Contributing Artist Andrew Hershey says this is the 2nd year for the event. This year, the tour and sale will feature work from more than 40 local artists. Hershey says items include paintings, jewelry and holiday cards. He says it's basically artists from the Benson area and it's at 10 different locations, including artists' studios, galleries, and other stores in the Benson area that will be featuring local artists. According to Hershey, "there will be great gifts for people to get for the holidays."
Art sales will not only help support local artists. 5% of proceeds will be donated to Youth Emergency Services, which offers a safe place for young people in crisis. More information may be found at info@illuminataglass.com.
