Holiday Under Glass kicks off this Friday

Joslyn Art Museum’s annual Holiday Under Glass series kicks off Friday, December 2nd and continues Wednesdays and Fridays through December 21st.

Amy Rummel, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Joslyn, says each concert takes place from Noon to 12:45.

After each concert, guests are welcome to take advantage of optional tours of Dirt Meridian as well as the permanent collection.

Rummel says this year’s lineup offers a mix of holiday favorites and classical arrangements.

"Bellevue East is kicking off our series this year, their Take 2 and their E Street Jazz.  Grace University Chorus is coming back.  This year we have the Omaha Symphonic Chorus, the Central High School Chorus, and so a few really big choruses.  Then we also have Central High School Bells and Strings.  They’re always amazing.  The bell choir is just gorgeous in the atrium.”

Rummel says Holiday Under Glass concludes with a performance by the Mastersingers on Wednesday, December 21st.  The series is offered free of charge.
