Holiday Under Glass starts today at Joslyn

This year, the Joslyn Art Museum’sHoliday Under Glass series will nearly double its offerings with nine concerts.

Amy Rummel is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Joslyn.  She says the concerts will feature holiday favorites and classical music arrangements presented by a wide variety of groups.

Rummel says the series features high school show choirs, bell ringers and a jazz band.

"And then we have our more experienced, college-aged singers and chamber choirs from Creighton University, Grace University and UNO.  And then for a touch of that old-fashioned street carol experience, we have Madrigal singers coming this year as well which is not something we’ve had for awhile so we are really looking forward to a good variety.”

Rummel says those who attend the concerts can opt to take a tour of one of the Joslyn’s collections after each performance.

The concerts are complimentary with museum admission.  Holiday Under Glass begins today and runs through December 21st.
