ICAN kicks off its 2016-2017 speaker series this week

ICAN, The Institute for Career Advancement Needs, has a new four-part speaker series, beginning tomorrow, May 25th

Opening the series is Tara Jaye Frank, author and a Vice President at Hallmark.  Allison Schorr, Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications for ICAN, says the series’ theme is “Transformation.”

Schorr says ICAN’s goal is to develop a community of inspired leaders who come together around the common goal of improving their value to their organizations and their communities:

“So, overall, we want these little touchpoints throughout the year, outside of our large conference, outside of those that actually attend our ICAN programs.  We want to create additional connection time, additional learning opportunities and have this kind of roster of expert speakers on expert topics that companies and individuals can count on ICAN for development opportunities throughout the year and events to attend.”

Frank’s presentation, titled “Stretch into Your Future,” takes place at Embassy Suites, La Vista, tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m.

Future topics are: "Radical Resiliency,” “Collaborative Intelligence” and “Keeping it Real – Authentic Leadership.”
