Indiana man wanted in connection with two homicides in Omaha

Omaha Police Department

An Indiana man is wanted by Omaha Police in connection with a double homicide early Saturday morning.

Police say in a news release that an arrest warrant for two counts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder has been issued for 53-year-old Michael Nolt.

Nolt is wanted in connection with the weekend shooting deaths of Malquan King and Arelius Hassell at 4511 Curtis Avenue. A woman at that home, Tommynique Valentine, was also shot. She was taken to Nebraska Medical Center.

Nolt is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 160 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel eyes. Police say Nolt may be driving a white 2015 Chevrolet Impala with out-of-state plates. He’s considered armed and dangerous.

Police say Nolt and the two homicide victims knew each other. All three are from the Fort Wayne and New Haven, Indiana, areas.

Anyone with information on Nolt’s whereabouts should call Omaha Crimestoppers at 402-444-STOP.
