The Institute for Career Advancement Needs presents its annual Women's Leadership Conference this week

Omaha, NE – The ICAN 2011 Women's Leadership Conference takes place tomorrow at the Qwest Center Omaha.

Mary Prefontaine is the Executive Director for the Institute for Career Advancement Needs. She says guest speakers include the Honorable Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and Elizabeth Gilbert, bestselling author of "Eat, Pray, Love." Prefontaine says the daylong conference features breakout sessions on everything from Emotions in the Workplace to The Corporate Lattice. She says the conference gives women an opportunity to step out of their everyday lives and create new networks for themselves, "The overall purpose for the women's leadership conference is to help both educate and inspire professional women, entrepreneurs, college women, those who are trying to determine a path for their future, in their careers, in their work and in their lives."
