By Katie Knapp
Omaha, NE – Wever, Iowa resident Nancy Harless is a nurse practitioner who has taken 15 international trips in the past 11 years. On those trips, she's cared for women and families who are struggling in everyday life. Harless has written a book about her experiences called "Womankind: Connection and Wisdom Around the World." It tells the stories of 21 women and one little girl Harless met during her travels. Harless' first international trip was in 1997, when she went to Guatemala and Belize. She says that experience changed her life. Harless will be at the Book Worm in Omaha this Sunday for a reading and discussion of her book.
