Incumbent Third District Congressman Leonard Boswell and his Republican challenger, Fourth District Congressman Tom Latham, debate at 7pm Thursday at Iowa Western Community College. The debate is sponsored by Iowa Public Television.
Due to redistricting Iowa voters will choose Congressmen in four districts instead of five. Iowa’s new Third District will be represented by either Boswell or Latham. The new Fourth District will be represented by either current Fifth District Congressman Steve King, or his Democratic challenger, Christie Vilsack.
The new Third District includes Pottawattamie and Mills counties. The new Fourth District includes Harrison and Monona counties.
