Jazz Calendar (Updated 8/ 18 /2016)
The second in the 2016 Playing with Fire concerts will take place Saturday August 27th at Turner Park at Midtown Crossing in Omaha. On Saturday August 27th , the Walter Trout Band will headline.
Turner Park will open at 3:30 PM each day. Music begins at 4:30. There is no cost to attend but freewill donations will be accepted. Turner Park is located at 31st Avenue & Farnam Street in Omaha. Featuring the best in blues, soul, funk, R&B , and rock, Playing With Fire celebrates it's third year at Midtown Crossing's Pavilion at Turner Park in 2016. The series was established in 2004 to bring people together to, as Jeff Davis, founder of Playing With Fire says "celebrate , dance and build community" with the most accomplished international and local musical artists.

Love’s Jazz & Arts Center presents Art for the Ears on Friday night, August 19th. Saxophonist Ed Archibald will perform at this event, which will have an opportunity to network before live music begins.
