Jazz on the Green at Midtown Crossing

Concert series presents Thursday shows through August. By KIOS

Omaha, Nebraska – The inaugural season of Jazz on the Green at Midtown Crossing is underway. The concert series which has presented a stellar lineup of musicians for Omaha summer audiences has now been reborn at a new venue, Turner Park at Midtown Crossing, 31st and Dodge Streets.

The first concert in the new series & new location took place Thursday, July 8th with the Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band and an evening of soulful latin jazz.

The Sugar Thieves / July 22. One of Phoenix Valley's brightest up and coming bands, they won the Arizona Blues Competition two years in a row and were finalists in last year's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The Sugar Thieves' powerhouse delta sound will take listeners back to another time.
