Omaha, Nebraska – 2008 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Jazz in June Festival. The festival in Norman, Oklahoma is a highlight of the annual festival scene in the midwest. For the past few years, over 50,000 jazz fans have converged in Norman to enjoy the festival.
Highlights from the 2006 Jazz in June Festival will be broadcast over KIOS this summer.
The sixth installment will air on Thursday night. Making return appearances, listeners will hear sets from The Red Rhythm Band, as well as from Brian Gorrell and Jazz Company, featuring Shane Conaway.
