Steve Shininger's "Swingin Sinatra" to kick off annual concert seriesThe Jazz on Stage series at the Grand Olde Players Theatre returns Sunday with Steve Shininger and his popular Frank Sinatra tribute program, "Swingin Sinatra". Steve has presented his tribute program to Sinatra to very enthusiastic audiences for several years. Steve's musical background includes playing with the United States Air Force Band for 12 years, in addition to being a bandleader and percussionist. The concert with Steve Shininger begins at 6pm Sunday September 9 at the Grand Olde Players Theatre. An open jam session takes place one hour before the main performance, allowing the students of music and the pros the opportunity to jam together and exchange musical ideas. Free admission to the jam session and the concert at the Grand Olde Players Theatre, 2339 North 90th Street, one block north of 90th and Blondo.
