Jazz for Summer Evenings Heads to Turner Park

Omaha, NE – Turner Park at Midtown Crossing is the new home of Jazz on the Green.
Omaha Performing Arts presents the complimentary concerts Thursday nights through August 12th. Joan Squires, President of Omaha Performing Arts, says Jazz on the Green has an incredible tradition in Omaha over the past 25 years. Squires says the series fits well with Omaha Performing Arts' mission to present the best of the performing arts to the community. She says, "With the focus on outdoor music and jazz, it was a perfect alignment with Omaha Performing Arts' mission."
The Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band kicks off Jazz on the Green on Thursday, July 8th. Other performers include the Prairie Cats and the Sugar Thieves. More information is available online at the new web site, jazzonthegreenomaha.com.
