Omaha, Nebraska – The second of three highlights shows from these years UNO Great Plains Jazz
Festival will air on April 2nd at 8:00PM. The series presents some of the areas
finest high school jazz bands performing at the Strauss Performing Arts Center
on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The festival took place
February 20-21st. For this installment the schools performing are Council Bluffs' Abe Lincoln, Beatrice, Lincoln NorthStar and Omaha Central. Mike Jacobs hosts the series. The recording engineer was Bob
Coate with production assistance from Mike Hansen. The final show in the series
will air on May 7th at 8:00PM.
