Omaha, NE – Mayor Fahey says there are no words to adequately describe the feeling following Wednesday's shootings. Fahey says he's shocked and deeply saddened by the incident, and sent condolences to the families during a press conference Thursday morning.
Governor Dave Heineman ordered all flags to be flown at half staff until Sunday in memory of the victims. Heineman says he's shocked, stunned and in disbelief over the killings.
Also speaking at today's news conference was Jim Von Maur, chairman of the upscale department store chain. Von Maur says grief counselors are available and a memorial fund is being set up.
