League of Women Voters says their name is being used unfairly

Omaha, NE – The League of Women Voters is striking back at the Nebraska Republican Party after they used the League's name in campaign ads.

State Republican Party officials claim that the information used in one of two flyers attacking a Legislative candidate came from a League of Women Voters survey. Greater Omaha Chapter President Linda Duckworth says no such survey exists. She says the information in the other flyer came from the group's Primary Voters' Guide.

As Omaha Public Radio's Katie Knapp reports, that could lead to changes in the League's informational Voters Guide.
