Omaha, NE – The Center for Public Affairs Research at UNO will present a census data conference tomorrow from 8:00 to 4:00.
Researcher David Drozd says the conference will provide important information educators, government workers, health care and non-profit organizations. The day features six specific breakout sessions. Topics include the implications of an aging population, the latest on the housing market and unemployment data as well.
Drozd says there will be several guest speakers, "Coming from different state and federal organizations. We are honored to have the chief of the government's division coming from Washington DC. We'll also have people here from Nebraska Workforce Development as well as a couple of individuals from UNO."
Walk-ins are welcome to attend the conference tomorrow. The census data conference takes place in UNO's College of Public Affairs and Community Service Building, located southeast of the bell tower on campus.
