Summer intern Krista Johnson came to Omaha looking to learn more about Omaha’s environment and what issues were facing it.
She called the project ‘Grading Omaha’s Environmentality,' and found there were a lot of passionate people in the community working to make Omaha a healthier city.
She also found there were a few things people were particularly unhappy about. One area she focused on was the issue regarding yard waste collection.
Another area that Johnson focused on was the combined sewer project and how some members of the community are using green infrastructure projects to help.
