Omaha, NE – Durham Museum is hosting a new exhibit called "With Malice toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition."

Marketing Director Shawna Forsberg says the exhibit was put together by the Library of Congress to commemorate Lincoln's 200th birthday. She says items on view include a copy of the Gettysburg address signed by Lincoln, as well as the contents of Lincoln's pockets the night he was assassinated. Forsberg says, "other highlights will be the bible upon which Lincoln was sworn into office and a final draft of the Emancipation Proclamation. There's also a cute story about a young girl that wrote a letter to him stating that he should grow a beard. And of course he did grow a beard which changed the way he looked."

Forsberg says special exhibit-related programming will include Lincoln's birthday party, the president for a day celebration and an appearance by a Lincoln re-enactor. For details on the exhibit and related events, the website is durhammuseum.org.
