Mark Benson to continue Jazz on Stage series

Saxophonist to perform at the Grand Olde Players Theatre this weekend

Omaha, Nebraska – The Jazz on Stage series at the Grande Olde Players theatre continues Sunday with Saxophonist Mark Benson and Friends.

Benson is an accomplished saxophonist who plays with the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra and also is a composer and educator.

He will be joined Sunday on stage by Dan Cerveny (keyboards), Carlos Figueroa (percussion) and Jerry DeVore (bass).

The concert is at 6 p.m Sunday evening at the Grand Olde Players Theatre, 2339 North 90th Street in Omaha. There will be an open

jam session in the lobby at 5pm, allowing the students of music and the pros the

opportunity to jam together and exchange musical ideas. Admission is free to the

jam session and the concert with Mark Benson.
