Midori to Headline the Omaha Symphony's First Concert of the Season
Omaha, NE – Violin virtuoso Midori performs Sibelius' Violin Concerto with the Omaha Symphony this weekend.
Midori says live performances are a once-in-a-lifetime experience for both the musician and the audience. She says she loves that energy and finds it difficult to replicate when she records music. Preparing for concerts is an ongoing experience for Midori. She says one has to keep in shape, regardless of the repertoire. Apart from her performances, Midori also spends time on several community outreach initiatives. She says her goal is to bring music to as many people as possible.
Midori takes center stage with the Omaha Symphony this Friday and Saturday at the Holland Center. More information is available online at www.omahasymphony.org.
