Millard Public Schools gets new superintendent

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A new superintendent has been named to lead Millard Public Schools in Omaha.

The Millard school board on Wednesday chose James Sutfin, currently Millard's assistant superintendent of human resources.

Millard is the state's third-largest school district.

Omaha television station KETV reports (http://bit.ly/1k2wciU ) that Sutfin's starting salary will be $215,000. He has a three-year contract.

Sutfin replaces Keith Lutz, who will retire June 30.
