Minnesota-based IT firm opens an Omaha office

By Katie Knapp Schubert

Omaha, NE – A Minnesota-based information technology firm hopes to have up to 50 employees in its new Omaha office within a year.

Ajasa Technologies opened an office in north Omaha's Family Housing Advisory Services building last week. The company provides IT staffing and consulting to large companies.

Tony Williamson, co-founder and CEO of Ajasa, says Omaha's people and businesses are a good fit for the company. "We found that there are a number of Fortune 500 companies in Omaha that could utilize our services, so we started to build some relationships over the year and started to do work with Creighton University as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. And we just found that the area itself really fit the type of company we are."

Williamson hopes the Omaha office will grow to 50 employees by next year and 100 employees within two years. Ajasa is already working with Creighton University and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska.
